The Arc

Our Journey at Arc Innovate

A child does not arrive able to solve a problem end to end. They grow into it — from making with their hands, to designing on purpose, to solving for someone else.

The Arc learning journey, ages 4 to 14
Our mission
We put real tools and a real problem-solving process in small hands.

So every child learns their ideas matter, and their hands can build them. Our vision is simple: raise problem-solvers, not answer-finders.

Machines are learning to answer. We teach children to ask, to notice, and to solve — and to care who it's for.

Arc is a design thinking club that happens to use 3D printers, not a 3D printing club. The machines are there to make a child's thinking visible.

Who runs it

Built by a designer. Run by an educator.

Arc was not built by a franchise team writing lesson plans from a distance. It was built by a product designer who spent twelve years running design thinking sessions, and four years teaching children in Bangkok international schools.

That matters in the room. The process children work through here is the same process a working designer uses — cut down to a size a seven-year-old can hold, but never simplified into a craft activity with a predetermined outcome.

It also means someone is watching how each child works, not just what they made. That is what ends up in the written report.

Ages 4 to 14, grouped into three bands: Young Creators (4–7), Design Builders (7–10), and Creative Innovators (10–14). Not every course opens at every age — each one starts where a child can genuinely handle the tools.

Twelve children maximum. Sessions run 90 minutes, once a week, in eight-week courses. The cap is not a marketing number — the Make block only works if one teacher can reach every child inside forty-five minutes.

Neither. Arc is a design thinking club that happens to use 3D printers. The technology is how an idea gets communicated, not the subject. If your child wants to learn to operate a machine, there are cheaper classes for that.

Both. Sessions run bilingually, so a child who is still building English can follow the process without losing the thread.

No. We keep a weekly observation record across five criteria, a photographed portfolio from week one to week eight, an end-of-term showcase where your child presents their work to you, and a one-page written report containing at least one specific sentence about your individual child.

3D Printing is 4,990 THB for 4 sessions, or 10,990 THB for 10 sessions with a free 3D pen. Idea to Design is 6,490 THB for 4 sessions, or 10,800 THB for 8 sessions with a 3D printing lesson included. Tech Toy & Tools and Craft Club pricing is being finalised — message us on LINE.

Yes, and often more so. The course is not a talent showcase — it is a process for noticing a problem and working through it. Children who do not think of themselves as artistic frequently do best here, because the work is judged on whether the thing solves the problem, not on how it looks.
